I didn't mean this is an SEO experiment, but a plea to developers and programmers who would like to provide entertainment to offline players. Typing Maniac is addictive, fun and educational. I remember the old DOS based game, typing tutor which trains you in typing as well as bring fun for friends who are in for a challenge. Typing Maniac is today's typing tutor, and it's available unfortunately or fortunately online, on Facebook ONLY. Typing Maniac is fun because besides the varying speed and cool graphics you have also "powers" to manipulate the falling words. Type "ice" and make the falling words stop for a time, keying in "wind" refills your life back, "fire" burns and resets all the falling words, and "slow", well slows the falling speed.Now, if you don't have a facebook account, still there are many, you have to register now or you can't access this game. If you don't have an internet connection, sorry you can't play as well. Even if you do, you have to wait for the game to load, good luck to those with slow or erratic internet connection like me.
Typing Maniac should be appointed into the hall of fame of casual games, along with Bookworm and Hangaroo. So come on! Many people wants to play Typing Maniac offline! Let's put a petition to metrogames for download of Typing Maniac for offline play without Facebook account!

nice idea, I almost searched the whole web for an off-line version of a similar game(facebook app. game) called "who has the biggest brain", but I didn't find it, anyway we have similar interests, and I want both games off-line.

I agree, Facebook won't let you play the game until you agree to let the application steal all your personal information and photos! What is up with that??? There's no way I'm going to agree to that!
i agree too. everyone should be able to play educational games even w/o a Facebook account

you didn't even read the article did you? there is no download link because the game is ONLINE only.
I wish they make it available for download, yes, but not offline. It's challenging to see how you rank between friends.

i suggest to have a available download for this game because it can help people to type past. and it was so challenging so please give as a chance to download this game even if where not using face book account..

I would also like to see this available outside of Facebook. I love the game, and I am a grade school computer teacher. Typing Maniac would engage my student far better than our current keyboarding program, and would be a great reward if they are doing well in keyboarding. Unfortunately, FB is not one of the sites I can let them access, for obvious reasons. However, if this was available elsewhere . . . .
