Have you heard of the word "Groupie". Have you seen the rock movie "Almost Famous"? If you have ever dreamed of being a rock star, groupies are somewhat your trophies. They are there to sit on your table, cherish them and forget where you got them. If there were ever such, Connie Hamzy is the rockers 'early bird' trophy. Everybody gets it at least once in their life.
The most famed story about Connie Hamzy I guess is the tribute from Grand Funk Railroad's "We're An American Band".

She's 53 now so please tell me why are you so interested in her now? Arkansas Democrat Gazette reported that a bunch of youths has been harassing her on the phone coming El Dorado. Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has already received the complaint from Connie Hamzy. I know that these kids are in the wrong but then again they are just kids. Why didn’t she just have her number changed if they were bothering her that much or call the parents and let them know what was going on?
