Bill Seidman William Seidman Dies May 13, 2009



William "Bill" Seidman , 88 died May 13, 2009. Bill Seidman or William Seidman was a former FDIC Chairman and CNBC Chief Commentator. (Misspellings: Bill Saidman, William Saidman)

Bill Seidman passed away because of brief illness.
In a statement, Bill Seidman's family expressed the following.
"Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather devoted himself to education, to the business community, to the service of his country, and most of all to his family and friends. He was an extraordinarily gifted and generous man whose wit and wisdom touched all who knew him. For our family, the loss is immeasurable."

An avid cyclist, writer, and an active member in world groups, Bill Seidman will be missed by many.
